I am slowly settling back to the Australian rhythm of life style after living in Tokyo for almost 2 years… I had forgotten how quiet it can be at night- I’m finding it difficult to get to sleep! Before I get too comfortable though, looks like I will be relocating to Holland at the end of the year. Not sure when exactly, but it’s going to be another adventure : ) I was sorting through some of my old work from the University days, and decided to take some new photos. Oh… how much I was in love with using polyester resin! I stopped using it for health reasons, as it can be very toxic to work with it for an extended periods of time. Maybe I’ll go back to it someday.

they’re beautiful, are those ball bearings in the first two? what’s in the last one?
the first two “bubble rings” have freshwater pearls embedded inside polyester resin, the last picture is “Peep Show ring”, I encased a pornographic image inside the resin with white resin layer on top, so you can only see the image when you peer from underside ;)
